Ichi-ki-kei-jiro, which means "first life from Jiro", is a sport of this popular variety. Ichi is early to ripen September-October, non-astringent and an excellent cultivar with dwarf growth habit. Bears large, flat, quadranted orange fruit Cold hardy non-astringent.
