Walter's Viburnum is a small tree native to wetlands of Florida and the SE coasts and has a very beautiful display of clusters of white tubular flowers in the early spring.  It produces a crop small dark blue berries that are a valuable food for birds and wildlife. It has small dark leathery leaves and there are several cultivars selected for dwarf or upright growth habit.  It is readily pruned and can be grown as a shrub.
