Loblolly Bay is a member of the Tea family and is a very attractive evergreen tree adapted to wet, swampy sites. It has very pretty white flowers with a yellow center that bloom summer into the fall and its foliage turns bright red after frost. It is most often found in the pine flatwoods of the coastal plains.
